My Step 2 CK preparations has been very painful so far. I have found it more difficult than Step1. I am done with UWORD (55% correct at first round) and I am making my incorrect questions and started solving AMBOSS at the same time. I took my first NBME 9 on OCTOBER 27: 214 I took NBME 10 today DECEMBER 5: 214 Again! I am very discouraged.

Walked out feeling really bad and knowing i made a lot of small mistakes. Step 2 ck: 250. Compared to step 1, i studied a lot less, and felt a lot less prepared. That said, I took care of myself way better and walked into the test feeling rested and with a positive outlook. I felt like step 1 broke me a little bit. NBMEs are spot on when to comes to the style of step 2. Vague question stems. Lots of next step management questions. The question stems give additional symptoms that don't align with the main diagnosis to throw u off. At least, that's how I felt about it. Took it last week. Took NBME 10 and 11 and Free 120. Step 2 CK is a one-day examination. It is divided into eight 60-minute blocks and administered in one 9-hour testing session. The number of questions per block on a given examination will vary but will not exceed 40. The total number of items on the overall examination will not exceed 318.
